Loukas is an associate consultant at KKS Advisors. He is working with clients on improving their strategy, reporting their performance and measuring their impact. His work includes extensive research, data collection and business development.
Loukas specialises in the energy-water nexus; a concept that studies the interconnections between the two resources and treats them as one resource for energy and environmental policy formulation. Additionally, he has strong technical knowledge in renewable energy production, specifically on hydrogen production and carbon capture and storage. Loukas is a strong advocate of resource-nexus as he believes it can positively reshape the way both Government and corporate agencies compile and implement resource efficiency policies and practices.
Prior to KKS, Loukas gained experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the quality control sector. He has participated in a volunteer program in Peru focusing on rural sustainability management practises. He has also participated in several model United Nations conferences both as a candidate and a chairman.
Loukas holds an MSc in Economics and Policy of Energy and Environment from UCL and BEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle. During his studies he was an active water polo player and won a regional cup.
