LONDON—KKS Advisors is thrilled to announce that Costanza Consolandi will join the broader network of experts affiliated with KKS.

Consolandi has extensive expertise in underlining the financial materiality of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Alongside Robert Eccles, she has conducted academic research which maps the SDGs to the most relevant ESG (environmental, social, and governance) issues established by SASB (the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board). Consolandi has deep understanding of how performance on ESG issues aligns with broader SDG achievement, and has developed a tool which maps sector-SDG alignment.

KKS will benefit greatly from having Consolandi on board, as SDG alignment is pertinent to many of the past, present, and future projects.

KKS will work with Consolandi to develop leading tools on SDG alignment for companies and investors. More specifically these tools can help organizations:

  • Determine which SDGs are financially material to their business models.

  • Define relevant KPIs and reporting frameworks

  • Develop strategies for leadership on industry-specific goals

The partnership promises mutual benefit, as articulated by Consolandi. "I am thrilled to join the expert network at KKS and start working with a great team that has consistently produced very relevant pieces of work,” she said. “I look forward to contributing to our shared mission of reshaping capital markets."

Consolandi is an Associate Professor of Corporate Finance at the University of Siena.  She is a member of the Academic Network of UN-supported Principle of Responsible Investments (PRI). Her work has appeared in the MIT Sloan Management Review, the World Economic Forum, and TrueValue Labs. She has also presented at the OECD World Forum on Statistics, Knowledge and Policy.
