Vittoria Bufalari


Vittoria is an associate consultant at KKS Advisors. She is currently helping clients analyze the impacts of their investments on relevant sustainability issues. 

As a consultant at KKS, Vittoria is helping to inform and advise financial market players on ESG issues and their long-term impact through rigorous quantitative analysis. She is currently working for a major data provider to measure and model financial materiality and related ESG performance for global companies. Moreover, she provides thought leadership for a high-profile research institute on the evolution and future prospects of sustainability and impact investing in financial markets. 

Prior to joining KKS, Vittoria achieved a MSc in Specialized Economic Analysis from Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (Pompeu Fabra University) and a BSc in International Economics and Finance from Bocconi University. During her studies, she gained vast knowledge across a range of topics including finance and investment, development economics and advanced econometrics while developing strong quantitative and analytical skills. 

She gained research experience on impact investing through completing her dissertation on the topic "Materiality and the Hidden Value of Sustainability", for which she carried out a quantile analysis on the equity risk-return trade-off embedded in ESG-tilted investment strategies. Moreover, at her first Alma Mater, she worked as research assistant on a paper analyzing European banks' regulatory arbitrage, where she gained significant experience in financial reporting and working with large data sets. 

With strong analytical and computational skills, Vittoria works at the intersection of finance and sustainability in a way that allows international market players to address the most pressing and material environmental, social and governance issues while boosting profits.
