LONDON—KKS Advisors announced today that Anuj A. Shah has joined the firm as the Managing Director of the Boston office. He brings nearly 20 years of insight-driven investment management experience focused on strategic growth. Formerly the Head of Strategy and Business Management for the Private Wealth Management business of Morgan Stanley, Shah possesses ultra-high-net-worth client segment expertise supplemented by in-depth knowledge of the impact investing market.
Prior to joining KKS, Shah founded the strategic advisory firm Linear Impact Partners, which developed sustainable investing strategies and solutions aimed at mobilizing capital towards positive social and environmental outcomes.
“Understanding the motivations and incentives of all players in the investing ecosystem is key to catalyzing impact capital within it,” said Shah, “and I’m thrilled to be joining KKS Advisors, which works with various types of clients to formulate strategies that strengthen sustainable investing and foster systemic change.” Shah will focus on client development within the U.S. and describes his role as continuing to be focused on “helping investors and investment professionals navigate the impact investing universe.”
Shah currently serves as an Advisor at BonBillo, an incubator program for startups using technology to advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals. He is also a former member of the Advisory Board of 118 Capital, an impact investing fund focused on underprivileged groups in the Americas. Shah earned a Master of International Affairs degree with concentrations in International Financial Policy and South Asia from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Boston College.
George Serafeim, co-founder of KKS Advisors and Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, said, "We at KKS are excited to have Anuj join our firm. He brings an impressive track record and we look forward to his contributions." Shah is passionate about serving as an intermediary to help those with capital invest in impactful solutions—a mission which he says aligns with the mission of KKS.
“To be part of an organization that lives and breathes that vision, I couldn’t be happier.”
