Evan G. Greenfield is a Founding Principal of Actacap Advisors focused on advising institutional investors and family offices as it pertains to ESG integration, engagement and impact investing.

Mr. Greenfield formerly helped oversee ESG and Impact Investing in the Americas for Deutsche Bank’s Asset & Wealth Management platform. He joined Deutsche Bank in 2010 as a member of the Business Development / Corporate Strategy team. He previously spent over a decade and a half as a private equity investor focused on opportunities in both developed and developing markets. Formerly based in the US, Eastern Europe and Asia, Mr. Greenfield has been involved in opportunities spanning a section of sectors: financial services, healthcare, education, infrastructure, etc.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Greenfield was a founding partner of Elsingham Capital, a cross border focused private equity fund between India and the States. He also assisted in the launch of Equifin Capital Partners, a private equity fund focused on the financial services sector in North America. Prior to the launch of Equifin Capital, Mr. Greenfield helped build out the European operations of Capital Z Partners, a $1.84 billion private equity fund focused on the financial services sector. Mr. Greenfield worked on a diverse array of transactions throughout Western and Eastern Europe with a concentration on privatization opportunities in Eastern Europe. Mr. Greenfield began his investment career out of Capital Z’s New York headquarters working with portfolio management teams in areas of business planning, growth management and realization opportunities. Mr. Greenfield began his career with the international law firm Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP.

Mr. Greenfield received a Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School where he was an Arthur Rock Fellow and received a Bachelors degree in Economics from Duke University, where he graduated summa cum laude.
