Joe is an Associate at KKS Advisors specializing in sustainable development across corporations, NGOs and financial institutions. Joe's work includes conducting research and analysis, developing change management processes, and providing strategic guidance.
Joe's experience includes supporting organizations to enhance their environmental, social and governance practices and unlock long term value through developing new tools, processes and strategies. His work addresses key topics such as natural capital incorporation in corporate strategy, the role of active engagement in sustainable finance, and investor integration of water risks. Activities include KPI development for impact analysis, conducting interviews with industry stakeholders, and facilitating industry-led collaboration.
Before joining KKS, Joe authored a report for the environmental behavior change charity, Global Action Plan (GAP). The research informs the development of interventions that combat the personal and environmental adversities of materialism and promote strategies for social wellbeing. Joe worked on the UK Food Economy Task Force, coordinating the work of over 60 leading academics, business people and Government representatives to develop recommendations for improving the competitiveness and sustainability of the UK’s food, drink and agriculture sectors.
Joe holds an MSc with Distinction in Sustainable Development from the University of Surrey, UK and a BA in Geography from the University of Nottingham, UK. He is a certified PRINCE2 project management practitioner.
